This week's question is: Would you consider giving out books to trick-or-treaters instead of candy? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

My answer: No. I could not afford to do that. But it would be nice if I could. Children need to do more reading and less playing on the phones and tablets.

  1. I agree that children need to do more reading, but they do expect candy on Halloween. :)

    ENJOY your weekend.

    1. I can’t imagine not giving children candy. They might up and revolt. LOL

      You enjoy your weekend also.

  2. It would be lovely - and I'm sure quite young children would be happy to get a book. I dislike the whole "expecting" aspect of halloween to be honest.

    1. I love seeing children being children. It doesn't happen often anymore with all the electronics but at Halloween they turn back into kids again. That is why I love to see them out running from house to house with those big smiles and openness. Not the big kids(teens)but the small ones.
      Thanks for stopping by. :)
